Terms of service & data annex
Effective 1 April 2026 · Controller: Synapnodex Focus (synapnodexfocus.digital)
1. Services described
We deliver marketing training focused on webinar funnel design, including live labs, async critiques, and downloadable outlines. Deliverables are educational, not a substitute for legal, tax, or regulatory advice.
2. Data controller
Synapnodex Focus acts as controller for personal data collected through forms on synapnodexfocus.digital. Mail: compliance@synapnodexfocus.digital. Postal address: 54-6, Geonyeong 2 chaapateu, Nangok-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul, Korea.
3. Categories of data
Identity and contact fields (name, email, optional employer), technical logs (IP, device type, approximate locale), communications you send, and billing identifiers when purchases occur through approved channels.
4. Purposes & legal bases
We process data to respond to enquiries (contract/legitimate interest), deliver training (contract), improve accessibility of our sites (legitimate interest), and comply with accounting duties (legal obligation). Marketing analytics run only after opt-in where required.
5. Retention
Inquiry records remain up to 24 months unless a longer period is mandated by tax or dispute rules. Session recordings, when offered, expire according to the notice you receive at booking. Cookie evidence follows the Data & cookies sheet.
6. Third-party recipients
Infrastructure vendors (hosting, email delivery, conferencing) process data under written agreements. We do not sell personal data. Any new subprocessor list updates appear here with a summarized change log.
7. International transfers
Primary processing occurs in Korea. If tools route data through other regions, we rely on contractual clauses or adequacy decisions available at the time of transfer and document them in our vendor register.
8. Security measures
Access is role-based, MFA enforced for staff accounts, and backups encrypted at rest. Incident response includes notification timelines aligned to applicable law when personal data is affected.
9. Children’s privacy
Training is aimed at professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16; if we learn we have, we delete it and adjust collection points.
10. User rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability where applicable, and withdraw consent for non-essential processing. Korean consumers may also contact the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) for guidance on disputes. We respond within statutory timelines and may request reasonable identity verification.
11. Policy changes
We revise this page when offerings or laws shift. Material changes receive a banner on the site for 30 days and, where we hold email addresses, a concise notice.
12. Governing law & venue
Korean law governs these terms unless mandatory consumer protections in your country say otherwise. Courts in Seoul have non-exclusive jurisdiction for business disputes; consumers retain local remedies.
