Refund & cancellation policy
Effective 1 April 2026 · Consumer protections under Korean law apply where you qualify as a consumer.
1. Eligibility
Purchasers enrolled as individuals or small teams (fewer than ten seats) through our public desk may request refunds under the windows below. Enterprise statements of work follow their signed exhibits instead of this page.
2. Full refund window (14 days)
If you cancel within 14 days of payment and before accessing more than one digital workbook or attending a live lab, we refund 100% of tuition to the original payment method. Bank fees charged by intermediaries may be deducted when contracts require it—those fees are disclosed on your receipt.
3. Partial refunds
After the 14-day window but before the halfway mark of scheduled live hours, you may receive a 40% refund if you provide written notice and return unused physical kits (if any) within seven days. Once half of live hours are delivered, partial refunds are not available except as required by law.
4. Non-refundable items
Third-party licensing you approved (e.g., stock footage packs), rush scheduling fees, and venue deposits we already remit to suppliers are non-refundable once purchased on your behalf.
5. Process steps
Email refunds@synapnodexfocus.digital with your invoice number, cohort name, and reason. Student success confirms attendance logs within five business days and issues a decision.
6. Processing time
Approved refunds post within 14 business days depending on your bank’s clearing windows. Crypto or alternative rails are not supported on the public desk.
7. Cancellation by us
If we cancel a cohort for low enrollment or force majeure, you may transfer to another date or receive a full refund including any fees we previously categorized as non-refundable, except third-party pass-through costs we cannot claw back—in that case we document the shortfall transparently.
8. Exceptions
Violations of the code of conduct (harassment, recording without consent) void refund rights for the offending seat while preserving rights for other participants in the same purchase.
